It is with joy, many long sleepless hours of labor, and tears that I present to you a preview of The New AGE (African Girl Evolution)…
LeThee’ma Weekly Discussion Series

African Sistas Flavor
Welcome! Bienvenue! Bem-vinda! O’Fualeh! Akwaba! Eka’abo
My purpose for creating this space, your space, aka "My Kitchen” is to cook on migration with a flavoring of insightful conversations on issues that emerge as a result of this cultural shift.
My goal: Discuss our African heritage, recognize the trailblazing African women and girls, support African women and girls who have emigrated from Africa.
I hope you entering this kitchen will not just stop at peeking in! You know that would not fly back in your mom's kitchen while she is cooking. You are usually expected to contribute in one way or another. Likewise, I too expect for you to engage in conversations around inter-cultural education (sharing our nathional and ethnic heritage), self-reflections (go deeper in knowing who you are, examine your life), and other-inspiration (help each other grow and live at our full potential). Cherishing what makes us unique and helping others learn from us …but above all helping younger African sisters become more comfortable in their own skin and more trusting of their inner voice as they transition into a new world. Guide and support them as is true of the African Woman’s nurturing spirit.
See you in LeThee'ma for the discussion of the week!!

I didn’t just have a sneek preview, I learnt a lot while hear. This is a good and commendable job Sharon! WE should all, in a small way, strive to leave a mark, a footprint, in other people’s lives. I am humbled, happy and privileged to have known and work with you.
Count on me always.
